San Antonio Spurs vs Denver Nuggets Prediction: Two teams on the opposite end of spectrum

The NBA Regular Season saga is going to wrap up in around a month and then we will head into the grinding Playoffs leg which will only up the intensity. The window before that is also important because this is where we await which teams end up in the top six and in the four Play-in spots. There are teams that need not bother with such permutations and combinations because either they have been on top or at the bottom for most of the seasons. Two such examples are Denver Nuggets and the San Antonio Spurs, which are going to clash here.

Jeremy Sochan has showcased a ton of promise as a two-way player, but the Spurs are a long way away from becoming a Playoffs-level team. Will they land Victor Wembanayama in the upcoming draft?

The Nuggets enter the match after a surprise 96:117 loss against the Bulls a result that is one of the most shocking throughout the season. Despite the loss, the Nuggets' march to the top of the West looks unstoppable. They have 12 wins in the last 16 games, the type of window that has been common throughout the season for the squad. They have gathered 46 wins and 20 losses thus far and their effort has taken a flight largely due to the returns of Murray and Porter Jr. who were missing from the scene last season. When you pitch such high-quality players alongside a generational talent like Jokic, such results aren’t a surprise.

The Spurs are among the worst teams in the league and against the Nuggets, they will have to pull off their biggest heist. The Nuggets did lose against a down-and-out Bulls team but that is more of an exception than the norm. That’s why I back the Nuggets to win big and predict a scoreline of 135:110 in their favor.
