Let's sum up the results of the Swedish national team at the world championships. In the group stage, the team performed quite good. They got three wins in four games, with a total score of 15:7. Thus, the Swedes made it into the playoffs from second place, where in the first game they got a close victory over Latvia (1:2). In the semifinals, they were waiting for a very serious contender - the team of Finland. Sweden showed excellent hockey, but clearly it was not their day. As a result, the Swedes lost with a score of 0:1. 

The Czech Republic's performance at the World Cup can be called a miracle. In six matches, the team achieved only two wins, while appearing in the semifinals of the tournament. There, they lost to Canada with a difference of three pucks (2:5). Before that, in the quarterfinals, the Czechs had managed to beat the U.S. (4:2). In the match for third place, the Czech national team will meet with a serious rival so they will do their best again.

We are more inclined to like the Swedish team in this match. Throughout the tournament, the Swedes looked noticeably better than the Czech Republic that lost in four games out of six. In our opinion, the game will not be productive because in the playoffs Sweden doesn't score a lot, playing very accurately. In general, we propose to bet on a victory of the "hosts". Prediction: a victory of the Swedish national team.
