The Android team has launched their Android Market In-app Billing to developers and users.
Android developers will be able to publish apps that use In-app Billing and users can make purchases from within the apps.
In-app Billing enables developers to monetize their apps with try-and-buy, virtual goods, upgrades, and other billing models.
Several apps that were released recently are already using the service, including Tap Tap Revenge (Disney Mobile) and Dungeon Defenders: FW Deluxe (Trendy Entertainment) as well as Comics by ComiXology, Gun Bros, Deer Hunter Challenge HD, and WSOP3 (Glu Mobile).
