Congolese midfielder of Atyrau, Joel Kayamba, criticized the level of infrastructure at the club in an interview with Telecomasia.net.
- Many talk about the weak infrastructure of the club. What do you think about this?
- Unfortunately, this is true. And there are problems not only in Atyrau, but in other clubs as well. I experienced it myself. When I played in Europe and Turkey, the infrastructure was excellent. But when I arrived at Atyrau, we immediately started training on artificial fields. I won't lie, the current infrastructure causes discomfort, and everyone knows it. A professional club should not have such infrastructure. I know that the current club management is doing their best to provide the team with the best conditions. It takes time.
- Have you played on synthetic fields before?
- Yes, but it was eight or nine years ago. Now I am playing on synthetic fields again, in Kazakhstan. In Europe, we only trained on artificial fields when it was snowing and very cold. But that was once a month during winter frosts.
Recall, Kayamba joined the "Oilers” in the last off-season. In the current season Joel played five matches.
