The former UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan of Russia fought American Sean O'Malley in the main event of UFC 280, which took place today, October 22, in Abu Dhabi.
In this fight, that lasted all three rounds, Petr was defeated by a split decision of the judges.
Yan was defeated in the fight which took place in April this year at the UFC 273 tournament. Petr lost to Aldjamain Sterling of the United States by split decision in the UFC bantamweight title fight. He now has 16 wins and four losses on his record.
