Rasul Magomedaliev, coach of Armenian fighter Armen Petrosyan said that Gadzhi Omargadzhiev was taken to the hospital after his fight with Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
Omargadzhiev and Nurmagomedov met in the octagon at the UFC 280 tournament today, October 22, in Abu Dhabi. In this confrontation, Gadzhi lost to his opponent by unanimous decision of the judges.
Nurmagomedov faced Jared Gooden of the United States at UFC 260 in March of this year. This fight lasted all three rounds and ended in favor of Abubakar by unanimous decision of the judges.
In April of this year, Omargadzhiev appeared in the UFC Octagon against a Brazilian fighter Caio Borralho. In this confrontation, the Russian fighter lost to his opponent by a decision of the judges.
