Centre Manu Tuilagi will be making a return to England’s men’s rugby squad since March 2020. Meanwhile, England’s 10 Marcus Smith will be sitting out due to a leg injury. A COVID-19 case among the staff caused the delay in announcing the team but in the build-up to the game against Tonga. Freddie Steward has been announced as the full-back and Adam Radwan will take the right-wing position.

The team and staff are following all Covid protocols and a training session will take place later this morning.

RFU Statement

We respect Tonga greatly. We're especially looking forward to getting back out in front of a full crowd at Twickenham and playing some entertaining, exciting rugby for all of the supporters - we can't wait to have them back.
