Juventus center-back Giorgio Chiellini has expressed how embarrassed he has been by the racist abuse directed by Fiorentina fans at the Napoli players. Earlier, Kalidou Koulibaly and Victor Osimhen revealed the abuse suffered by them on social media after Napoli’s win. This is why Giorgio is urging the authorities to do more in regard to racial abuse to improve the image of Italy.
We need laws and rules that are applied I was ashamed, as an Italian and a Tuscan, also because Italy is not a racist country for me. Something more must be done, otherwise from outside we give a bad image of ourselves.
