Nicola Hancock has also been superb with the ball, claiming four wickets at an average of 8.75 and an economy of 5.00. The team also has spinner Poonam Yadav who has taken four wickets too at an average of 10.00 and an economy of 5.71.

Annabel Sutherland bagged a half-century in the last game and also clinched a wicket in the last game. She is the leading wicket-taker for the team in the tournament and has been the most effective option. The Stars’ top-order is loaded with Annabel, Lanning, and Villani at the top, and Maia Bouchier and Kim Garth also produced serviceable knocks in the middle-order during the last game.
Who has the edge?
The Heat should have clinched two victories but made unforced errors in the first game against the Scorchers. An opening pair of Georgia Redmayne and Grace Harris matches up well against the opening duo of Annabel and Villani. Brisbane has produced better bowling performances but the return of form for Kim Garth can spell changes for the Stars’ fortune. Heat has the edge but never underestimate a team that has Villani and Lanning.
