Lakers’ Forward Anthony Davis said he is not worried about the potential early-season struggles for Los Angeles Lakers. The multiple-time NBA All-stars and 2020 NBA champion Davis said that it will take time for the new-look Lakers to enmesh and it is something that will develop gradually. Davis’ argument is simple, it takes time for a new unit to understand positionings and rhythms and it is a long season with more than 80 games so there is always room for more chemistry.

Lakes revised the roster in the offseason, completing a mega-signing of superstar Russell Westbrook. The team also got hold of Dwight Howard, Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Nunn, Malik Monk, Trevor Ariza, DeAndre Jordan, and persistent scorer Carmelo Anthony. The Lakers addressed their three-point shooting which hampered a long postseason run in the last season.

We want to be good, but we don't want to skip steps. You can't rush the process of what we're trying to do and win championships. We know, possibly, there could be struggles to start the season. But we never want to get out to a slow start 0-5, 0-6, whatever -- we still want to be able to fight through our mistakes while winning games.
