T1: Playing the toughest opponent

T1 continues to play unstable - one defeat, then a convincing victory. The first game of this summer tour was a bit awkward for T1. The favorite lost the match to a player from the second division, emphasizing its game slump, which is simply visible to the naked eye. The guys had the same kind of start in the spring, so you shouldn't be too surprised. Fortunately, in spring, T1 was quickly included and took the top 3, and this summer, it was desirable to start with the game against Nigma Galaxy SEA, which the T1 team did, defeating their opponents with a score of 2-0. Followed by another victory over SMG (2-1), but all these victories still do not look ironclad, and with each such game, I see a picture that shows me T1 outside the top 3 regions in the final regional league.

After their successful performance at The International 2021 (7th-8th place), the T1 team is consistently in the top 3 of their region. But with each round, staying in the lead gets harder and harder. At the end of the winter and spring rounds of the regional league, T1 was third in the table. In winter, they were second in the regional finals. In spring, they went to the Majors in Sweden, where they performed poorly because many people are used to T1's stable good performance in lanes and Europe in general. But that was before TI10... After a disappointing departure (9-12th place) from the Majors, the players returned home to rest. It is unlikely that any of them spent much time preparing strategies in the run-up to not the most important tour. However, the summer DPC points are needed for the team to not worry about their participation in TI11.

T1 didn't start playing the DPC league in the spring, so I don't expect a perfect Dota on the favorite's first or second map. You can see that this T1 squad is tired, and the results of the guys are declining. The cardinal replacements are coming, but most likely, their bosses will hold them only after TI11, where the result on the major can already be perceived as unsatisfactory. Furthermore, the tournament will be held in Singapore, in front of a native audience.

Talon Esports: A principled opponent for the carry lineup

Talon Esports received a barrage of criticism after losing to Fnatic (0-2) last week. Yes, the game was weak, which was extremely unlike what the team showed during the first half of the regional league. After the first three games, the 23savage team was the leader of the table and was going 100%. Yes, all the games were finished 2-1, but the main thing was winning. One defeat at a time should not bury the guys, given that T1 for the team leader 23savage is an extremely moral team that he was kicked not so long ago, which means the carry will clearly prepare for the game with former teammates especially.

Talon Esports players won the first summer tour match against Polaris Esports (2-1) and did not cope with the debutant of the elite and the team Nigma Galaxy SEA (2-1). The team won one map because 23savage and Co. decided to experiment on the second map and were close to overturning the light draft their not the best choice of heroes. The first high-profile summer success for this squad was a 2-1 win over BOOM, which underscored the entire squad's focus on making it to the summer majors in the United States.

Talon Esports is a Hong Kong-based eSports organization that broke into the Dota 2 world in November 2021. It started out ambitious. The Fly and Gabbi signings sounded formidable, but the star-studded lineup couldn't even make it out of the second division, which immediately forced the "stars" to leave this project. Not from the first time the team passed the open qualifiers, in the first round, and even became the fifth in the lower leagues, but the organization did not immediately shut down the project. It just started to act differently, to form a different lineup, which gave the result.

The big move of the first position 23savage from T1 was an important aspect that helped the team take the second place in the second division at the end of the second DPC league spring round and get a ticket to the elite, where the guys are going to show their power if you can call it that. The roster did not change after the spring season. The team did not play anywhere else but was systematically preparing for its debut in the elite.

Expert Betting Tips

In this match, my preference is Talon Esports. I propose to bet on their victory for 2.07. T1 has extremely unstable play, and 23savage will go out of his skin but will prepare some secrets to the game with the former team, showing that his kick is their main mistake.

This confrontation should not end without three maps, so it makes sense to bet on Total Over 2.5 maps for 1.93.

I want to draw the attention of especially risky players to the correct score of 2-1 in favor of Talon Esports. The odds for such a risky bet meet expectations - 3.78.
