Why has everyone written Mallorca off? Have they got off to a poor start? Athletic do not like to play underdogs, so that it will be tough for them.

Athletic are always cool to play good teams. They almost won against Barcelona this season, and they picked up 3 points against Celta. And what was with Elche? That’s right - nothing. A pale 0-0 without any chances. It’s always like that with the Basques. As soon as they have to play a kind of underdog, the team disappears.

I don’t think the match against Mallorca will be an exception. The bookmakers are making Athletic the clear favourite, and for a good reason. The visitors are capable of at least not losing.

Yes, Mallorca are a newcomer to Primera. What’s next? Did that somehow prevent the boys from picking up 7 points in the first three rounds? It somehow prevented them from playing a draw with Betis, who finished above Atletico last season. Mallorca are fine.
