Antonina Shevchenko vs Casey O'Neill: the fight is unlikely to go the distance

On the night of October 2, another UFC Fight Night will feature a fight between Antonina Shevchenko and Casey O'Neill who represents Australia.

In the second five-minute fight Lee decided to show Antonina what the Americans were all about and made a few good throws. The fight continued on the ground. Lee caught Shevchenko with a triangle and tried to choke her for almost two minutes. Antonina had only eight seconds left to end the round, but here Andrea switched to an elbow lever. The pain was even harder to endure, so Shevchenko gave up.

Casey O'Neill had only two fights in the UFC, and in her last one, she made another furor by defeating Lara Procopio by technical submission. After the fight, the athlete explained how her belief in her abilities earned her the win. "I overestimated her fight in my head shortly before the fight. My coaches said, 'You're a weak wrestler.' But I finished her choking. It was amazing." The fighter added that sooner or later she will beat everyone. Casey plans to fight until she's 35 and she is in no hurry to fight for the title yet.

She has enjoyed success in kickboxing, but she said her body is made for fighting. "Once I'm on someone's back, I can't be dropped. It was nice to prove that. Two fights and two finishes in the UFC. I couldn't be happier."

The 23-year old Australian has 9 wins (5 by knockouts, 3 by submission) and no defeats so far in her pro record.
