The NCAA March Madness has delved into the Elite Eight and the number of teams will reduce by eight times once we hit the round. It means we are inching closer to the title game and the remaining teams have now weathered multiple storms. Will the Florida Atlantic Owls continue to weather the storm as they take on the Kansas State Wildcats?

The Wildcats had to give it all to earn an Elite Eight berth and just sneaked past Michigan State Spartans 98:93. After the Spartans forced the Overtime, the Wildcats made some huge plays in the last minute, courtesy of their amazing Point Guard Marquis Nowell, who broke the tie, dishing it for a Keyontae dunk, then assisting a Ismael Massoud jumper and finally stealing the ball and making the game-sealing lay–up.
Nowell finished with 20 points, an enthralling 19 assists, and five steals. Keyontae Johnson led the scoring effort with 22 points. Naeqwan Tomlin led the rebounding end with seven while scoring 11 points. The Wildcats had an astounding 26 assists and just five turnovers, bringing to us an unparalleled 5.2 A/TO ratio. Their clean play helped them rack up extra field goal attempts and helped overcome a three-point and free-throw disadvantage.
Florida Atlantic Owls
The Owls completed a dramatic turnaround as they defeated the Tennessee Volunteers 62:55. They were shut down in the first half, scoring just 22 compared to 27 by the Volunteers. The team battled hard and clicked from deep and around the halfway mark of the second half, two triples in a row by Michael Forrest gave the Owls an edge. Forrest had the most triples, nailing three of them.
The Owls attempted 27 of their 50 field goal attempts from long-range and made just eight of them, however, the ball was ringing in the second half. Johnell Davis scored 15 and Nicolas Boyd scored 12 to keep the scoring effort afloat. The defense was amazing for them and they limited to Volunteers to just 33.3%. The Owls had to fight hard for the win and let us see how they respond in this game.
Expert Betting Tips
The Owls will be facing a tough challenge in the Wildcats but they have shown that they can fightback even against tough defenses. Both teams have the tendency to score a lot and leave their imprints from beyond the arc. I just favor the Wildcats slightly here considering their depth and expect a high-scorer.
