Carrier Ethernet and Transport networking vendor Orckit-Corrigent has upgraded its mobile backhaul product portfolio to support new technologies.
The company's solution now combines gateway functionality - via an MPLS aggregation switch - with a multi-service access switch and cell site gateway. This enables the delivery of TDM services over interoperable MPLS networks.
Orckit said this was the first time cell site, hub site and aggregation site gateways had been implemented on the same switching products.
The solution also includes management and service provisioning system CM-View.
