ZTE has unveiled its new-generation, easy-maintenance Ethernet switch ZXR10 3900E and 5900E series, which can be deployed in the service edge layer of metro networks or the edge layer of enterprise networks.
With the boom of IP services, the ZXR10 3900E and 5900E series switches focus on an integrated platform to implement data, voice, video and mobile services.
Based on a highly reliable software platform and ZTE-designed application-specific integrated circuit, the 3900E and 5900E series “contribute excellent switching capacity and performance, convenient operating, easy maintenance and other new features for next-generation networks.”
Also, the two series feature smaller size and front cabling, low-power consumption, and smooth upgrade -- meeting the demands of future network evolution including metro Ethernet’s future long-term evolution adoption.
