In a bizarre story, an Argentinian third-tier league coach Mauricio Romero got shot in the shoulder during a game. The incident happened in the game between Ferro de General Pico and Huracan Les Feras. Multiple shots got fired in the stadium and as both team’s players ran for protection, Ferro’s coach took a bullet in the shoulder. Thankfully, he is not in a critical situation right now but this indeed turned out to be an almost fatal situation.
Romero is doing well and out of danger. After leaving the stadium he underwent tests in a local hospital and is now giving a statement to police.
