Belgian head coach Roberto Martínez commented on his team's victory over Canada (1-0) in the group stage match of the 2022 World Cup.

From a technical point of view, it was the worst performance of the Belgian team at the world championships. But overall it wasn't the worst, because we won. Winning a World Cup match when you play poorly doesn't come by chance. We had to show good defense, and we were lucky that the goalkeeper was in great shape. We were disappointed, but we were able to find a solution.

Roberto Martínez, quoted by L'Equipe

The Belgians, who play in the same group as Canada, Croatia and Morocco, will have their next match on November 27. Martínez's charges will play against the Moroccans, the meeting will begin at 13:00 GMT.
