Baltimore Ravens vs Los Angeles Chargers: The opponents to play on defense

One of the main games in the NFL Week 6 will feature the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers, the teams that are off to a 4-1 start to the new season. You could have expected anything from the Week 5 game where the Los Angeles Chargers hosted the Cleveland Browns, but certainly not this insane touchdown shootout by players from both teams. It felt like a general agreement that both teams' defenses had been given the day off. With a score of 47-42, the Chargers managed to achieve success after all.

Los Angeles, by the way, didn’t do without a comeback either. With 3 minutes to go, the Californians trailed by as many as 7 points, but they scored a touchdown and then managed to fail the chance. Instead of tying the game, the Chargers gave their opponent a one-point lead. The Browns, however, returned the favor by ending their possession incredibly quickly and within one minute, running back Austin Ekeler was closing the game with a touchdown on a carry. Ekeler had a total of 2 touchdowns on receptions in the game against Cleveland, in addition to a touchdown on the ground. Quarterback Justin Herbert also had another great game, with 4 touchdowns on passing + 1 on takeaway and no interceptions.

The rivals met in the 2019 playoffs when the Charges won in Baltimore 23-17.

Although the opponents played very productive matches last week, this should not happen a second time. Moreover, after so many poor plays, the teams will surely pay special attention to defense.

Also, it seems that a slight preference should be given to the Chargers. The team had two more days to rest, after all.
