Chelsea will aim to return to winning ways in the Premier League when the Blues host Newcastle on March 11th at Stamford Bridge. Mauricio Pochettino's team managed to secure one point in their last game against Brentford on Saturday, as they played out a 2-2 draw. The point was earned thanks to a late goal from Axel Disasi. Meanwhile, Chelsea have drawn their last two Premier League matches and last won against Crystal Palace on February 12.

The Blues have been dealing with injuries throughout the season, and on Thursday, the club announced that Ben Chilwell has been referred to a specialist for a knee problem that he sustained after the draw with Brentford. Levi Colwill has also started a rehabilitation program for a toe injury, and Conor Gallagher missed training due to illness this week.

Pochettino spoke about Conor Gallagher missing the training:
He's not here the last three days. We'll see if Saturday or tomorrow he has the possibility to train. The problem with these situations is you lose weight and energy is down, and you need time to recover. We need to assess him in the next few days.

During a recent media briefing, Pochettino stated that Carney Chukwuemeka is ready to join team training, but he does not anticipate any of his injured players returning to the squad. Additionally, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Christopher Nkunku are currently unavailable for Chelsea.
