Blackboard launches BlackBerry app
Blackboard has launched a native application for BlackBerry mobile devices – which debuted at the University of Washington -- as part of the new Blackboard Mobile platform. The application enables users to navigate course catalogs and campus maps, e-mail professors and classmates, and receiving real time updates on course schedules, campus events, news and sports with Mobile Central (Blackboard Mobile's flagship suite of applications).
Opera Mobile 10 beta for smartphones debuts

Kingsoft has launched the Kingsoft Mobile WAP service exclusively for mobile phones as a strategy to construct a web-based platform. Kingsoft Mobile WAP is available to all local mobile users in China for free with services such as software, games, themes, picture and ringtones downloads.
