Aptilo Networks said its Wimax AAA+ Core now supports Prepaid and Hotlining based on the Wimax Forum standards.
Prepaid and Hotlining support allows a Wimax operator to make use of a new suite of business models and extend beyond traditional post-paid models for improved cash flow from their operations and minimized business risks.
The new functionality is based on Wimax Forum Networking Working Group specifications release 1, version 1.3.0, and is part of the new Aptilo system release 9.0.
With Prepaid and Hotlining support, Aptilo becomes one of the first Wimax AAA solutions on the market with this new standard commercially available.
