Bharti Airtel has partnered with PC maker Novatium in a tie-up aimed at expanding India's broadband market.

Novatium has introduces a new PC built especially for Bharti Airtel broadband customers, the Airtel NetPC Plus.

The product range has been designed so it can be sold cheaply - it relies on cloud storage except on the high-end, and emphasizes internet access rather than off-line computing applications.

As a result, the entry-level model retails for just 4,999 rupees ($110.40) on a 24-month plan from Bharti Airtel. Prices for Bharti's Net PC Plus plan start at 999 rupees per month for 512K.
