Bing for Mobile has launched updates to its iPhone and Android Apps, which

streamline how a user discovers relevant local information.

New features for the iPhone app include a streamlined homepage, refined restaurant searches with autosuggest, table reservations and takeout order, a new mobile mapping feature, and “check-in.”

The Android app is available for download on all major US mobile operators through the Android Market.

Updates include automatic detection of “what’s nearby,” the ability to bookmark any image result from the web to the device, and searching through third-party apps.
