CSR's RoadTunes is a Bluetooth design interoperable with personal navigation devices (PNDs) and in-car systems.
RoadTunes uses CSR's BlueCore5-Multimedia silicon and features a low-power RISC and DSP processor. The silicon also features Bluetooth v2.1 for simple pairing and audio CODEC with a signal to noise ratio of -95dB.
The design also integrates CSR Clear Voice Capture (CVC) and third party echo cancellation technologies.
On the average, it takes less than six weeks to integrate RoadTunes on a device, according to CSR. The module is available at $6 apiece.
