Bridgewater Systems has unveiled its comprehensive long-term evolution (LTE) product suite with new products such as the Home Subscriber Server and the Policy Controller.
These are fully compliant with the Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 8 Standards and several global trials with major service providers are in the planning and implementation stages.
Available as stand-alone, single purpose systems that can easily integrate with other components of an enhanced packet core network, the two products enables service providers to implement smart subscriber service and policy controls, and rapidly launch LTE trials and early deployments.
They also allow providers to ensure seamless network evolution through centralized control across all mobile access technologies, and introduce LTE-ready controls in 3G networks.
