Cable&Wireless Worldwide has rolled out an extended suite of Ethernet services across 31 sites in Asia, India, Europe and the US to address the demand for seamless, secure, resilient and high-capacity connections.

The new service will be an international Ethernet private line (IEPL) offering for enterprises and carrier customers, and will deliver high-speed, point-to-point connectivity at speeds up to 1Gbps.

The IEPL will allow businesses to connect disparate computing environments globally, through transparent connections between LANs, allowing businesses to avoid costs associated with managing the multiple interfaces that are prevalent on most legacy networks.
