CNN International has appointed digital group AD2ONE as its media sales partner with focus on its online properties and its mobile products in Australia and New Zealand.

This is the first time the network has brought on a digital specialist in the region. AD2ONE will drive awareness for advertising opportunities to CNN.com, CNN Money and CNNGo and its suite of mobile entities including the CNN Mobile website, the iPhone, iPad, Android and Nokia smartphone apps specifically in the Australian and New Zealand market.

“I am pleased to have AD2ONE on board for Australia and New Zealand which are two key markets for us. Our digital properties attract a very high page view count to a targeted and relevant demographic, ensuring that advertisers reach the appropriate audience,” said William Hsu, vice president, CNN advertising sales, Asia Pacific.

The appointment comes as the CNN Digital Network goes from strength to strength with recent launches of Sydney and Seoul on CNNGo.com, and Apps for the Nokia smartphone and Android phone.

The Asia Pacific region has one of the highest of regions for global downloads.

The CNN Web sites maintain the leading position among regional media web sites, visited by 85% more business decision makers and 150% more top managers across a month than the next placed international media web site.
