DIGITALK announced that Viacloud, a telecom group with operations in Europe and the Middle East, has selected its DIGITALK Carrier Cloud for the management, routing and billing of its wholesale voice traffic.

Viacloud’s Middle East operations include retail and wholesale voice services and will be able to benefit from the scalability of the cloud as well as the ability to maximise ROI from its wholesale operations.

The platform enables VoIP providers to arrange their own carrier agreements, set-up interconnects, determine rates, and configure routing plans, on demand and in real-time. Its network capabilities include flexible signaling interworking, SIP session high availability, and dynamic media transcoding.

With no limits on capacity and a pay-per-use model, DIGITALK Carrier Cloud is built to support risk-free growth with a low capex and operational model that meets the needs of rapidly growing businesses, the company said.
