Napster plans to launch an over-the-air music subscription service in Japan, through NTT DoCoMo, reports said. Napster Japan, a joint venture between the company and Tower Records Japan, said in a statement on its Web site that it would be the first deployment of Napster's over-the-air music subscription service.

LG says it is currently developing a mobile phone which allows users to feel broadcasts as well as seeing and hearing them. The firm said it has developed new mobile phone technology which adds the sense of touch to the traditional modes of sight and hearing.

Tom Online signs a deal with Intel on the development of mobile applications for Tom Online using Intel's ultra-mobile PC platform. Based on the platform, a customized version of Tom-Skype, a peer-to-peer calling service has been worked out, the firm said.
