Eurofiber, a specialized provider of managed dark fiber in the Benelux , has purchased JDSU's Optical Network Management System (ONMS) to monitor the quality of service of its dark-fiber network infrastructure.

The agreement includes options for future service level agreement and network support. According to JDSU, Eurofiber chose its ONMS as it enables real-time service, test and performance monitoring over active/live fiber, which improves quality of service, especially for broadband services. JDSU's ONMS also helps reduce time and costs associated with network troubleshooting, operation and maintenance, and delivers automatic operation and maintenance tasks, allowing Eurofiber to guarantee high-quality service to customers.
