The initial connections are at carrier Ethernet exchanges in New York, Chicago, Virginia and Los Angeles.
This creates seamless connections with KDDI America's high-speed fiber network and provides end-to-end connectivity and scalable bandwidth throughout the US and around the globe.
The new connections dovetail with KDDI America's deployment of Layer 2 Ethernet switches in key data centers.
