Ekahau introduced four new WiFi tags that expand the functionality of its real-time location tracking solutions, the company said.
The tags include a personnel badge tag that offers the industry's first two-way WiFi pager capabilities and other solutions for industrial, retail and temperature sensitive environments.
This new WiFi tags (which include the T301BD, T301i, T301T, among others) support two-way communication, enabling the tags to both send and receive information and allowing remote tag management via WiFi.
Samples of all tags are available while volume shipments will begin in the fourth quarter of 2008, the company said.
