Nokia Siemens Networks has sold off its music download platform, Music2You (M2Y), to Hyderabad-based tech platform provider IMImobile for an undisclosed amount.

M2Y - launched in 2005 by Siemens prior to its merger with Nokia Networks - provided hosted full-track music download and subscription services to operators like Vodafone in India, AOL in Germany and Akado in Russia.

NSN said it was selling M2Y to focus its hosting business on MVNO solutions and messaging rather than music.
