NTT Com Asia has moved CEO Masaaki Moribayashi to Europe and appointed Japan-based vice president Takanobu Maeda to the top job.
Moribayashi, who has been head of NTT Com Asia and HKNet since 2006, will become managing director of NTT Europe, NTT Com Asia said. Under Moribayashi, NTT Com Asia doubled its ICT business sales, the company said.
Maeda, formerly vice president of global IP network sales and marketing of NTT Com Japan, took over both posts on July 1. He has been with the NTT Group since 1988.
He previously worked with NTT America and on NTT Com\'s next-generation global networks.
"Mr Maeda will now leverage his extensive global experience to pilot NTT Com Asia as the best ICT solution partner for enterprises operating in the Greater China region," NTT Com said.
