Pacific Crossing is offering Gigabit Ethernet access support to carrier and ISP customers that are looking for scalable, flexible connectivity options between Asia and North America.

Pacific Crossing's new service allows customers to access its "lowest latency" network called PC-1 using a standard Gigabit Ethernet interface at the company's four points of presence in the US and cable landing stations in both the US and Japan.

The service offers a standard Gigabit-level port for customers and flexible bandwidth subscription options in increments of 155Mbps (STM-1).
