Qualcomm has appointed Clifford Ficke as VP and president of Qualcomm Japan.
He replaces Jun Yamada, who will transition from his current role as SVP and president of Qualcomm Japan to senior advisor.
Ficke joined Qualcomm in May 2011 as VP of sales and operations. Prior to that, he served as VP of sales and business development at Applied Micro Circuits Corporation.
