Korea Telecom, MacroEye and Qualcomm have partnered with the city government of Seoul -- through the Wireless Reach initiative – to expand a healthcare project through the "Seoul Family Helper" program.

This project supplies mobile handsets and devices to caregivers and senior citizens in order to provide healthcare related support.

Seoul's City Hall is adopting the pilot project as one of its budgeted welfare services in 2010.

The project is being expanded from the original pilot of 40 caregivers and 400 elderly participants to 500 caregivers and 5,000 participants.
