Qualcomm replaces China chief

Qualcomm has promoted Xiang Wang to senior vice president and president of Qualcomm Greater China.

Wang, currently vice president of CDMA technologies, replaces Frank Meng, who “is leaving Qualcomm to pursue other opportunities.”

Wang has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and communications fields.

Before joining Qualcomm, he held key positions in sales and marketing of companies, including Motorola and Lucent/Agere.
