Chipset platform vendor Sequans and Nokia Siemens Networks say they have successfully conducted interoperability trials of TD-LTE technology.
The demonstration tested the interoperability of NSN’s TD-LTE infrastructure equipment with Sequans’ SQN3010 platform in the 2.3 GHz, 2.5 GHz and 2.6 GHz frequency bands.
NSN said in a statement the successful test brings TD-LTE closer to commercialization.
The TD-LTE interoperability trial was conducted at NSN’s R&D center in Hangzhou, China.
