Smartpay and BICS, part of the Belgacom Group announced the signing of an agreement for the use of the HomeSend hub to enable mobile remittances to China.
This deal will enable people in selected countries in the EU, Middle East and Asia-Pacific to transfer money in a fast and cost effective way to the mobile phones or bank accounts of their friends and family in China.
The remittance transactions will be facilitated through the HomeSend remittance hub, which is a strategic business partnership between BICS and eServGlobal. HomeSend allows the real-time transfer of any type of funds, such as airtime or money, and from various fund sources, such as eWallets, bank accounts, credit cards and cash.
