OSS/BSS vendor Subex has been selected to help Movistar Colombia improve its fraud management capacity.
Subex has been chosen by Movistar Colombia's solution integrator partner, Telefónica Ingeniería de Seguridad, to supply its ROC fraud management suite for the operator.
Movistar was eager to replace its existing fraud management solution with one which met its escalating requirements, Subex said. ROC was chosen through a global RFP process.
Implementation began in January, and the solution should be fully operational by July.
Subex's ROC solution is includes the fraud management component Nikira, which supports features such as pre-check functionality and e-fingerprinting based on user behavior.
