Suntech has upgraded and extended the functionality of its billing, customer care and workflow systems, enabling Polish CDMA telco Sferia to launch new services and innovative pricing plans while maintaining real-time credit control.
The new system has been integrated with Alcatel-Lucent's intelligent network platform, which Sferia is using.
According to Suntech, Sferia is the first network in Poland and one of the first companies in Europe to have implemented radio access in CDMA technology, giving it very special requirements that necessitate the implementation of several perfectly integrated systems.
