Tektronix has added a TD-SCDMA scanner to its RF Scout Interference Hunter tool to support the emerging 3G standard developed in China.
The scanner, when combined with the RF Scout capabilities, offers network operators a one-box RF field optimization solution, enabling them to check and troubleshoot coverage and interference issues on TD-SCDMA networks.
Tektronix says the RF Scout Interference Hunter provides the necessary tools to hunt for RF interference and check signal quality in one rugged, handheld platform, enabling network performance planning and optimization teams to explore, discover, analyze and document interference, coverage issues and other signal quality problems in a field-ready tool.
