Telespree Communications has selected Transaction Network Services to provide it with a full suite of SS7 signaling services and hosting solutions.
Under the deal, Telespree will use TNS' suite of SS7 signaling, hosting and ANSI-41 messaging services to connect its Tier 1 and Tier 2 carriers to the TNS network.
The customers will use the network to authenticate and activate wireless devices, effectively reducing wireless carriers' operating expenses related to customer activation. New mobile customers can simply turn on their phones and Telespree, with TNS signaling support, activates their new account on its wireless customer network.
This allows wireless carriers to recognize revenue faster, and reduce expenses associated with customer care and in-store activations.
