Volubill is doing an online survey that would wrap up on August 13 to identify how mobile subscribers would like to access data services from their providers.

The survey, “Data Download: Are You Getting the Mobile Service You Crave?” is designed to explore customers’ preferences for balancing mobile data pricing, usage volume, application access, service features, and convenience.

Among the issues tackled are service features customers value most, the importance of long-term contracts versus unlimited data plans, and demand for turbo button options and plans that offer application-specific pricing.

“We want to explore where users see the greatest need for data service flexibility, and what mobile operators can do to keep current customers happy and also attract new ones,” said Akil Chomoko, product marketing director at Volubill.
