Thai state-owned operator TOT plans to accelerate the public listing of its three operating units - Telecom Tower Sharing, Optical-fibre Sharing and Application Co – on the nation's stock exchange. The units will now be listed in 2013.

Foxconn closes plant after 2,000 worker brawl

Foxconn has shut down a factory which manufactures consumer and automobile electronics, after a brawl broke out involving 2,000 workers. Foxconn said the incident began as a personal dispute and then escalated, and the dispute doesn't appear to have been work related.

New Zealand Prime Minister John Key has opened an inquiry into revelations that authorities unlawfully wiretapped Megaupload co-founder Kim Dotcom, in the lead-up to his arrest on behalf of the US FBI for allegedly facilitating large-scale piracy.
