Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya posted screenshots of his bet on the fight between Francis Ngannou and Tyson Fury on his social media accounts.
Israel bet $15,000 on Ngannou winning and five more on him winning by knockout. In total, Adesanya can earn more than $172,000 in case of victory.
Recall, the fight between Ngannou and Fury will take place on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.
Adesanya last went into the octagon against Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 293. That fight lasted the entire distance and ended in a defeat for Israel by unanimous decision of the judges. Thus, the New Zealander once again lost the title. He has 24 wins and three losses.
