Former heavyweight title challenger Dillian Whyte tested positive for doping during a random drug test and dropped out of his fight against Anthony Joshua.
The news was reported by VADA, which has already informed Matchroom, the Association of Boxing Commissions and the British Boxing Council.
White, 35, last stepped into the ring against the same Franklin in November 2022. That fight went the full distance and ended in favor of Dillian by majority decision of the judges. He has 28 wins (19 by knockout) and three losses.
