Fury Believes He Beat Usyk

Former WBC heavyweight champion Briton Tyson Fury spoke out after his defeat to Ukrainian Oleksandr Usiyk at the boxing night, which took place on the night from 18 to 19 May in Saudi Arabia.

Recall, Usik defeated Fury by split decision. Thus, the Ukrainian became the first undisputed heavyweight world champion in 25 years.

Tyson Fury
Happy new year! I believe I won that fight. I think he won a few rounds but I won the majority of them. His country is at war, so people are siding with the country at war. Make no mistake, I won that fight in my opinion.

Usyk, 37, had his previous fight in August 2023, defeating Daniel Dubois by knockout in the ninth round. He has 22 wins (14 by knockout) without a single defeat on his record.

Fury, 35, previously stepped into the ring in October 2023, beating Francis Ngannou by split decision. He has 34 wins (24 by knockout), one draw and one loss.
